Hey everyone! I'm from Liberty, Missori! I would have to say i like the book. I knew that Matt and Susie would get together ( So cute!!). To everyone asking I would say that my favorit character would have to be Matt. I also thought that the ending to the book wasn't may fave. I wish it would have been some thing like more happy and up lifting. But thats just me! I hope everyone enjoyed it like me!

Love ya all,

Since not a lot of people are answering other people's questions, I guess I'll start off by saying that Guerrilla Season was a fantastic book, but the beginning was slow and it was not appealing to me. However, as I read on, the book became more interesting, with its context very relatable and suprising. The one aspect I loved about this book was that I almost never knew what to expect next. The climax was the best part for me, with the story having a great plot. The book's ending was the worst part and the best part for me. It was terrible because we wanted to know; Did Matt and his family make it okay to Pennsylvania? Did Matt and Jesse ever see each other again? It was great though because it made us want to know more, and it also gave us, the reader, the opportunity to be able to decide for ourselves what OUR ending would be.
My least favorite character in the book would have to be Jesse's mother. In my opinion, she was too outspoken and she should have learned to keep her mouth shut about what she believes in so she wouldn't have endangered herself and her family. That being said, because of her big mouth, Susie and herself were taken to federal prison because they sided with the Guerrillas.
My favorite character in the book would probably be Matt. I like Matt because he works hard in order to support his family. He is very humble and is a boy of few words, but he knows when it is his time to speak up. I also think myscelf and many other readers like Matt because the storyline is focused around him most of the time.
My favorite part of the whole book would be when Matt was coming back from Jesse's party and the Feds. stopped him on his horse and held a gun to his head. I felt it was thrilling and it certainly gave Matt the wake up call he needed.
Now its everyone else's turn to answer my question!
If you were to write an alternate ending, what would that ending be focused on? For example; Jesse in the war, Matt and his family's journey to Pennsylvania, etc. Let me know!
